The Bootle project covered the design, construction, financing and provision of facilities management services for fully-serviced accommodation in Bootle, for the occupation of HM Revenue and Customs.
The construction, by John Mowlem, was a new-build, four-story office complex spread over four wings. Operations commenced in July 2000. Since the building opened the internal space has been developed from an initial capacity of 650 personnel to over 850 currently.
Project revenues are availability-based and paid by HM Revenue and Customs.
