The business is an independent bulk liquid storage terminal located in the Port of Rotterdam, Netherlands. The facility has a total capacity of 242,154 cbm and is designed specifically for the storage of ‘bunker fuels’, a group of products of varying specification that are used for the fuelling of maritime vessels.
Rotterdam is considered a key bunkering hub in the ARA (Antwerp-Rotterdam-Amsterdam) region, in part due to it being the largest port in Europe and therefore a convenient place for vessels to refuel, but also due to its location at the centre of the European petrochemical industry.
Following the signing of a new contract in October 2023, all of the current capacity of the terminal is contracted on a ‘take or pay’ basis until June 2029.
