R.Power Renewables
R.Power is one of the fastest growing privately-owned renewable energy developers in Poland and has solar PV and battery storage operations across Poland, Romania, Germany, Italy, Spain and Portugal. The investment by 3SIIF, and further EBRD equity raise, will support the company’s plans to achieve 1GWp of operating solar within the next two years across EU markets.
About

Why we invested
With the CEE region presenting an attractive renewable energy generation sector, R.Power provides access to a renewable energy platform which develops, owns and operates utility-scale solar PV in jurisdictions mainly complementary with those where Enery, the other 3SIIF investment in the energy sector, operates.
- Proven track record: Management team has a demonstrated track record having developed and commercialised more than 1.1GW of solar PV generation assets and providing O&M to over 1GW of capacity since 2012
- Decarbonisation: Replacement of carbon-intensive thermal generation with clean renewable energy
- Asset maturity: Operating platform with potential greenfield expansion opportunities, 75% of which is in 3SIIF target jurisdiction
