Roehampton University - LEEF
In August 2018, LEEF funded green infrastructure for Roehampton’s state-of-the-art media hub, a key requirement of the University and the students
About
Roehampton University used LEEF to fund the Energy Conservation Measures for the refurbishment and extension of two adjacent buildings at Digby Stuart College site to provide improved facilities principally for the University’s Department of Media, Culture and Languages.
The building provides specialist teaching areas including film, television and sound studios, a 90+ seat cinema, photographic studios, cutting/editing suites and a flexible creative project space for the new digital media course. The project has been designed with the nature of the building in mind, being a performing arts studio as well as being delivered in an energy efficient way.
LEEF funded a range of energy conservation measures that will provide carbon reduction as well as energy savings, lowering costs for the University.
