Flint Mine Solar
Flint Mine Solar
Amber, working in partnership with Hudson Energy, developed the Flint Mine Solar 100MW array in New York. The Project was sold in 2022.
About
In development from 2017, the Flint Mine Solar project was a pioneering project due to its proximity to New York City and the changes implemented to the State level permitting regime in New York State. Amber acquired ~1,600 acres of land in the lower Hudson Valley, designed, developed and permitted the Flint Mine array. The project was the 1st Utility scale array to be deemed compliant by the New York permitting agency under the newly amended Article X requirements.
