THE BACKGROUND

With a rapidly growing network that currently covers over 180k homes and businesses, Airband is emerging as a leader in deep rural connectivity, helping to drive productivity, connect communities and reduce the digital divide in the UK.

With the benefit of subsidies awarded under BDUK’s Superfast Rural Broadband programme, the Company is bringing the next generation of connectivity to rural homes and businesses that are otherwise unable to access quality and reliable broadband.  NDIF’s investment, alongside co-investors Abrdn, will enable Airband to deliver faster internet access to over 625k premises by 2025.
